Hi,
Good Day!
Usually in the SAP HANA Administration Console, once you open the catalog section then execute your query. There is a result tab and an Export button.Once you click this export button, you were able to save download the query result as a CSV file. We want to limit the permission access granted to the user. May I know, if it is possible to disable export permission upon triggering SQL query on the catalog of SAP HANA Administration Console even the user has sap.hana.xs.ide.roles::CatalogDeveloper system priviledge? Thanks.
Meo
SAP HANA Studio is a development and administration tool. Access privileges to data are managed based on privileges in the database assigned to the user account that is used to logon. Beyond that, there are no further levels of privileges managed.
That means if a user can see the data the user also can export/save the data.
If you want to constraint your users on this level SAP HANA Studio is the wrong tool to use.
