MTO scenario

Hi ,

We have MTO scenario , in which we have created one sales order with the item 0010 & 0020 , after MRP run automaticallly the for that two item insales order 2 production order generate for each item . Ideally it should generate only one , It happens for one time only for one material ,but what could be the possibility behind this .

Please give me you views on this .
