Sorting report data using Crystal Report viewer in Crystal reports 2008

Hi,

I am working on vb6 application as part of win7 migration and we are trying to replace the existing crystal report control(crystl32.ocx) with crystal report viewer control.

I am unable to figure out the equivalent for the following code using crystal report viewer control in CR 2008

Say my crystalreport control is report1.

report1.sortfileds(0)="{Dept.Range} < 5 "

report1.sortfields(1) ="{Dept.Category} > 3"

Please suggest me as to how to achieve this sorting of report data using crystal report viewer control.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Ram

Unfortunately with CR 2008, your only options are .NET or Java. Both the OCX and RDC which you could use in VB 6 have been retired.
