Gurus,

I am creating a contract for services value contract.While creating PO should i mention the service or Limits in PO.If the contract value is 10000 then the system should not allow me to create PO beyond 10000.Now it is allowing to enter both in service & limit.

Hi,

Maintain message setting in following path:

SPRO>MM> Purchasing> Environment data>Define attibutes of system message-->system message --> set appl 06 and Msg No 155 to "E"(error msg)  for PO cannot exceed Contract limit.

The sys is not throwing error msg when i enter the value of contract more than that specified in the contract.

Hi,

In the above path maintaion to set appl 06 and Msg No 042 to "E"(error msg)  & save for PO cannot exceed Contract limit.

Note:Msg 155 for target value
