Business One 8.8 PL12 - Integration Framework

Hi Guys

I have got the integration framework running but cannot connect from Business One to the Dashboards - I have set up the connection by HTTP as the HTTPS connection would not test successfully.

I just keep getting the user login pop up window - I have checked all of the passowrd settings for the B1i user and the licences.

Inside of the framework looking at the SLD for the B1if database, if I test the connection on the B1DI I get the following message

com.sap.b1i.adapter.dia.exception.ConnectionFailedException: Connect to Business One failed.

(-8012) Company version mismatch

{b1Server=WKSTN-13777, company=B1if, licenseServer=WKSTN-13777:30000, dbType=4, dbUser=sa, userName=B1i}

Any ideas??

Hi Karth,

the best way is ask your SAP business partner for the Integration Component installation kit.

I tried to find the SAP support portal, but could not find it and I also got from my SAP Business One Partner.

Hello All,

I have same issue.

My system is fully upgraded to 8.8 PL12. (DI API too!)

In the SLD I checked all user name and password combination. JDBC connection is OK, but the B1DI test result is

com.sap.b1i.adapter.dia.exception.ConnectionFailedException: Connect to Business One failed.
(-8012) Company version mismatch
{b1Server=SQL08, company=B1if, licenseServer=SQL08:30000, dbType=6, dbUser=sa, userName=B1i1}

First step, I installed the PL10 installation kit, after ran the PL12 upgrade and finally I installed the Integration Component 1.0 For B1 8.8.

The DI API and the DI server versions are same than the company databases.

JDK 1.5.0.22

Installed 32 and 64bit too, becouse I ran the system on Windows Server 2008 r2 x64.

Can anybody help me?

Hi Dominic, Hi Gabor,

This error after testing the DI is pointing there is a mismatch between DI, SBO-Common and Company database versions.

To check each do the following:

DI - go to Start -> Run and type %temp%. Locate the folder SM_OBS_DLL and delete it. Then open the SAPBobsCOM.dll -> right click Properties and ensure the version is 8.8 PL12.

SBO-Common - query the table SINF (select Version, PatchLevel from SINF) and ensure the version 880230 and patch level is 12.

If it's not correct run the SBO-Common upgrader from PL12 again.

Company DB - query the table CINF (select Version from CINF) and ensure the version is 880230

Lisa

Also it seems you are both trying to connect to a database called B1if - which is the databse that is installed when you install B1ic.

Can you ensure in the SLD that you change the Database name to the Business One databse you want to use as the B1if database is not a normal Business One database.

Cheers,

Lisa

Thanks Lisa your answer!

I changed the company database in SLD -> B1If -> B1DI section. Tested the connection and everything is OK in the Integration Framework.

Tried in SBO client. At the login no problem, no error message, but the dasboard show this message:

SAP B1iP detect an error:

Emitted HTTP-Code
500 - Internal Server Error

Internal Reason

Did not supply an appropriate user-ID integer (Param6):

Remonnendation
Check the correctness of your activity or environment or ask your system-administrator for further help.

I checked the dll and database version, there are OK, 880230.

Restarted the Integration service and try again, but could not connect the B1 dashboard.

Try the hungarian demo database which have B1i user, and I met same error messege than the test database.

Other important thing in the test database than I see. It has not B1i user, but has B1i1, B1i2....etc.. to B1i40.

Is this normal? I try to create B1i user and the B1 say: This user exist in database table.

Have you got any idea?

I have another dilemma.

I changed the B1DI company to the test database. Connection is ok!

What is the right sollution if I would use multiple databases?

Hi Gabor,

Can you restart SAP Business One Integration Service from windows services and log in again to SAP Business One.

Regarding the B1i user issue you have.

That was fixed in 8.8 PL13 just released - see Note 1471217 for more details and there is a workaround for the issue in the Note to restore the B1i user. The issue will occur if you have deleted the B1i user and then B1i* is created each time you log into B1.

Ensure you read the Installation_Guide_for_the_Integration_Component and AdministratorGuide_Integration_Component which are in the Documentation folder in the B1ic instalaltion package.

To use multiple databases pls read the Administrators Guide section 2.5 Using Further Companies With SAP Business One Integration Component.

There is also a great blog written by Janos on the SDN with very useful tips

THere is a B1ic troubleshooting guide in the blog link below

Hi, I know this is a reply quite an old question now, but I have been trying to find the SAP note corresponding to the missing B1i user ID and I am unable to find it.

Is there an alternative location for this somewhere?

my thanks,

Hi Ken,

The Note is 1471217 and it was fixed in 8.8 PL13.

Please note the issue occurs again and is documented in Note 1620402.

Dominic,

Based on the error you are getting, is the company that you are try to test actually upgraded to PL12 for B1 8.8. The error indicates that it is not.
