SAP Marketing Cloud - Private Cloud Option?

Dear Experts,

as described here https://www.sap.com/products/crm/marketing/technical-information.html there is an option to get SAP Marketing Cloud as a Private Cloud.

The "Learn More..." link provides information about HANA Enterprise Cloud.

Can maybe someone summarize briefly what that means specifically for the SAP Marketing Cloud? (Is it possible to do more development? Is the system updated as the public cloud is? ...)

Is this option available in Germany (German Data Centers), too?

Hope someone can clarify.

Hi Tobias,

The private cloud option is based on SAP Marketing (on-prem), hosted by SAP but upgrades would have to be done by the customer and will not happen automatically. SAP HEC data centers are also located in Germany.
