OLE object link on a mapped drive changes to UNC path

Hi all,

I'm creating several reports to be used by multiple sites, each site has there own file server and each computer has a mapped drive to their own file server.

I 'thought' that I would be able to create one set of reports and distribute them to the different file servers. I'm using file DSN to a mapped drive (which works great). And I put a company logo in the reports which is a OLE object pointing to a mapped drive.

Unfortunately Crystal changes this link to a UNC path so which ever server I was mapped to when I created the reports every report uses that save file.

Does anyone know if I can do this somehow, or am I going to have to have a different set of reports for each site (making maintaning them a knightmare)?

If you are using Crystal Report XI and above, you can see when you right click on the picture properties you insert, there is a field Graphic Location, that you can put in formula to dynamically display different pictures based on condition.
