Field ending in zeros if it doesn't equal 28 characters

Hi,

I need a formulated field to equal exactly 28 characters, by combining 3 fields. I have successfully concatenated the 3 fields that need to be combined. The problem is that some rows have 26 or 27 characters, I need the zero(s) to fill the space.

This is the final formula

left({@Universal Loan Identified (ULI) 2} + " ",28)

Thank you,

Shanna

You were headed in the right direction with it. Try something like this:

    left({@Universal Loan Identified (ULI) 2} + "0000000000000000000000000000",28)

This will add trailing zeros to pad the right side of the data even if the field is blank.
