Has anyone turned off the reciprocity in the BSI interface for an employee, is this possbile from SAP end by maintaining any infotye? Can anyone please give us a clue on this. Sorry if this is very obvious , but we have never done that.
Thanks So Much,
Reciprocity is a compliance issue. You probably shouldn't deactivate it even if there's a way to do it. I'm not aware of a way to do it. However, you may be able to accomplish the same thing by maintaining Infotypes 207, 208, and/or 235.

Hi Sriyasha,
This is Kathy from BSI Support. Although we don't know how you turn reciprocity off for an employee within your SAP system, we could assist you in creating a reciprocal override within BSI TaxFactory. You would have to create a group code, then create the recprocal override. Finally, you would need that group code to be entered on the employee record so that it is passed to BSI TaxFactory.

Thanks,

Reciprocity is related to Tax Authorities in table T5UTQ where you assign Residence and Work tax authority. Create a new rule and assign it in table T5UTQ and then delimit the 207 and 208 from emp record. Hope it works. Its just a work around if it works then let us know. Also let us know if you have some other better solution for this.
