Purchage Group

Dear Experts,

In my client side we use purchase group with employee name one purchasing group left the job but many po created with this group now i want to restrict that with this purchasing group we can not create the po . we dont want to delete this becasue old pos are created.... pleas e solve this...

Remove the authorization of ME21n to this purchase group, this way no one will have access to create so no creation of PO.

Remove country code from this purchasing group in T024 table and then configure system message to error in purchasing. This will block purchasing group for new PO creation while old POs will be unaffected.

chage the description of old purchaging group, you can use old purchasing group as usal ,or next time on wards you crate purchase group create using numaric ,you have to give discription that numaric purchasing group,if any one purchaser left the job just you can chage that purchase group description i.e the best practice

Hi,

There no standard settings,

find some user exit or Include throgh ABAP.

write query like when the particular Pur. Group enter the system issue a error message.
