v.12 Designer and v.10 Runtime

We still ship the Crystal Reports 10 Runtime. A few customers would like to use the newer Crystal Reports 12 Designer. Would this be possible? Can .rpt files be saved that are compatible with version 10?

Yes but there will be problems if they use new CR 12 features in CR 10 runtime. Mostly, no Cascading Parameters, eveything else shouldn't be a problem. I assume you are using the RDC in your app?

As long as they test them first in your app to verify they should work.
