AZ Additional Witholdings

For AZ employees the additional witholding field is greyed out on IT 0210

Is this field rightly greyed out or should it be open .

Did you apply SAP notes related to BSI tub 181 ? Config change to open up this field for input may be included in these.

Hi

you need to apply below prerequisite notes in sequence before applying tub 181 as per SAP recommendations ,which brings the AZ formula calculation into system

Hi,

Please go to view V_T5UTZ

Search for tax auth AZ . You will see that the Additional amt prohibited field (IT0210-AAPBT) checked. Now uncheck this filed if you want the Additional Withholding amt field to be editable in IT0210.

This will resolve the issue.

You can navigate to the 2010 version of Arizona Form A-4 (Employeeu2019s Arizona Withholding 2010 Percentage Election). The following appears on the form:

Additional amount to be withheld per paycheck $

My understanding is that this is new and effective 07/01/2010. It seems that itu2019s wrongly grayed out. But it may be so new that SAP hasnu2019t yet had time to react. I havenu2019t looked for an SAP Note.
