Actions not visible for a user!

Hi Experts,

One of the employee is unable to see few of the action types in PA40, whereas when I'm using other user login, it's visible.

Have checked many threads which describes how to configure Actions but what could be the possible reason for this.

  • Personnel Area is different for this user.

Please help.

Regards.

This is controlled at user level and config . Check what parameter 'UGRP' (user group) the other user has in his/her user profile, and ask the other user (who only has a few actions showing up in PA40) to set it to the same value .

Actions menu is dependent on user groups

    1. For the user for whom the actions menu is shown correctly go to SU03 then in the parameters tab check the value of UGR

    2. For the user for whom the actions are not visible go again to SU03 and assign the same value of UGR as the above user

    cheers

SU03 and SU3 are different. To check the USER Parameter UGR , Use transaction SU3. The UGR group mentioned might not be added with those Action Types.
