Broken delta link error - leave request ESS 1.41

Hi Experts,

We've just installed ESS 1.41 SP6 on a 7.01 SP6 portal with an ECC 6 EhP4 backend. Then we've assigned the standard ESS role to some users to confim the BP was installed properly.

Some iViews seem to work just fine (personal information for instance) but the leave request application throws a critical error :

Broken delta link - object type = id = portal_content/com.sap.pct/srvconfig/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.13.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.13.lea/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.13.fpmapplications/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.13.LeaveRequestEnhCE_13/com.sap.xss.config.fpmviews/BlockCale.

I checked the PCD and the following folder is empty : pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/srvconfig/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.13.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.13.lea/com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.13.fpmapplications

Do we have to install previous ESS BP before installing the latest version?

Just install SAP_ESS SP 15, basically we need a base this is a fundamental block.

After this You can directly install EHP4 ie 1.41 no need of EHp1, ehp2, Ie EHPS are cumulative

Backend is fine , Its just the front end you need to to

SAP_ESS SP15 and then Install directly 1,41 BP.

Hi,

We undeployed ESS and MSS 1.41, deployed version 1.0 and then version 1.41 and now the problem is solved. We've got an IndexOutOfBoundException but this is probably due to some missing customizing.

Hi,

Just to make sure : do I have to install ESS and MSS 1.0 and then ESS and MSS 1.41 or do I have to install each version (1.0, 1.2, 1.31, 1.41)?
