Outgoing Payments Remarks prinring in General Ledger

Hi

One of our client wants to print the 'Remarks' of Outgoing Payments in General Ledger reports printing through PLD. Please suggest procedure.

Hi Aloke,

You can use the Journal Remarks to enter your remarks and while on the Genral ledger, you would be able to see the remarks under Remarks. However, the character limit here is upto 50 . Hope this helps.

Details information are available in 'Remarks' field of outgoing payment window and this information is to be printed in 'Reports --> Financial --> Accounting --> General Ledger' report through available PLD provided in the system as user is generating general ledger reports from this PLD. I have added one database field in the PLD and assigned it with table - 'OVPM' and Column 'Remarks' also relate it with 'Ref 1' field which contains the document number of outgoing payments record. But system always showing the 'Remamrks' of document number 1 for every record.

Hi Aloke,

Use variable 70 to captur the remarks in the GL report. That would sort your issue.

Hi Aloke,

You can do one thing, If your remarks are upto 50 characters;

Use Journal Remarks field of Outgoing Payment and then you can easily fetch it to PLD.
