how SAP valued the assets when deducting/reducing the asset quantity

Hi Friends,

how SAP valued the assets when deducting/reducing the asset quantity. Is it weighted average, LIFO or FIFO method? Is any standard method or that would be client specific, if any how could we came to know that .

Coming from the below deductions. Do you know how the APC value decreases per quantity? We need to know if the APC changes under weighted-average or LIFO method in SAP when there is a decrease in quantity.

Actually in specific asset posted couple of retirement documents based on that the quantity of asset has been reduced from 392.109 to 329.415. . In that retirement posting clearly they have mentioned how quantity should be reduced. You can check below document for reference.

Asset accounting is not MM where you manage stock with Is it weighted average, LIFO or FIFO method.

When you have 10 assets and you do a retirement from 1 asset then 1/10 of the value is writen off
