ABAP/4 processor: SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC

Hello,

I have problem in creating work order for particular type. I created work order for breakdown maintenance and save it, upon saving it throws an workflow kind of message says "Update was terminated" .I simply clicked the check mark and tried getting into iw32 to see my order but it came back with duplicate record with different order type and plant with respective info.

I think this is the problem with number ranges as I could see the last number in the number range has passed with lot of order numbers...how do I fix this ?

The below message I got in in business workplace

System ID.... QAS

Client....... 400

User..... xxxxx

Transaction.. IW31

Update key... 21088ADF8731F1C4B57C002655848C54

Generated.... 07.07.2010, 15:42:32

Completed.... 07.07.2010, 15:42:32

Error Info... ABAP/4 processor: SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC

    Check that it isn't any of your developments (user-exits, BADIs, etc) causing the problem

    Find out the last number of the order number created from table AUFK and then adjust the number range object for the order type using transaction SNRO.

    Hello Mahee

    Normally there are two reasons for short dump SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC

    1, commit work in user exit;

    2. inconsistancy between the last number in the table and the current number in the number range;

    please check the short dump happens where inserts entry in table XXXX. check the lastest number in this table and compare it with the current number in number range object. In this case, the current number in number range is no larger than the lastest number in DB.

    The solution would be to manually adjust the current number in the number range object in SNRO.

    I hope the information is helpful.

    Regards,

    Jane
