We have a requirement for component rqmt date to always fall on Thursday even if it occurs on a non-workday per the factory calendar. Lot sizing settings include: lot sizing procedure = P, Lot-size indicator = K, Event interpretation = 1. Planning calendar settings include: if period start is not a workday, do not displace and periods begin on Thursdays (weekly calculation rule).
When the planning run occurs, period start is still displaced to next workday when period start occurs on a non-workday. Also requirements due date moves to next production day instead of falling on Thursday. I tried manually changing the period to start on the desired date and re-running MRP but the rqmt date was not updated. What settings should be changed to allow this scenario?
