Hierarchies not updated from PSA

Hi all

I'm facing a problem after I changed the InfoObject 0GL_ACCOUNT (I added a new characteristic and migrated the 3.X DataSource )

Now:

- The tab "Processing" in the InfoPackage changed?!? - now is same as for attributes and texts plus ALE inbox is not mentioned anymore?

- And, the important thing, I can't update the hierarchies trough Process Chain - the data comes only to PSA and requires manual processing (so says the monitor)

If I run the InfoPackage manually ti works fine...

it all depends on how you rsystem is set up and in 7.0everythign loads in to PSA first you need to create a DTP step to load from PSa to data target.

Hierarchy DataSource could not be migrated (no option on rightclick) and so I have only InoPackage that updates PSA and IO subsequentlly. Did I miss something on the R3 side?

you are right heirarchies cannot be updated as SAP hasnt provided 7.0 data sources for hierarchies yet. the 3.5 version cannot be migrated. so this is it for now. until a new release sorry dude.

There's a process called "Save Hierarchy (3.x)". Just add it to the end of the process chain, once you're done loading the hierarchies.

On its definition specify the Infopackages used to load the hierarchies and make sure you check "Activate Hierarchies After Loading Or Mark for Activation" at the bottom.

Please notice the process should be included in the same Process Chains were Infopackages are, otherwise you might get an error.
