SET PARAMETER ID 'BES' FIELD rs_selfield-value.

Check that the parameter for item is not also set in memory as in

SET PARAMETER ID 'BES' FIELD ebeln.
SET PARAMETER ID 'BSP' FIELD ebelp.
CALL TRANSACTION 'ME23N' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.

Nevertheless, as Sandra already wrote, batch-input on such Enjoy Transactions can lead to some strange results.

Batch input is a problem for "enjoy" transactions like ME21N, so maybe with ME23N too, dixit SAP note 381630 Batch input for Enjoy transaction in MM not possible

Maybe try with transaction code ME23 (without the "N").
