Dears;
Can any one help me know why when one of the users use the Collective Search Term to search for an employee and for example wrties the first 2 letters then * the system gives him a list with all the employees with those two letters while another user uses the same Search Term and the system gives him a message stating that there are no valid values?
Thanks in advance.
Lobna
Hi Lobna,
Please make sure that the user doing the search has authorization to the following auth objects with the following parameters:
1. P_PERNR : AUTHC=M;PSIGN=;INFTY=0002;SUBTY=
2. P_ORGIN : INFTY=0002;SUBTY=;AUTHC=M;PERSA=;PERSG=;PERSK=;VDSK1=*

This sounds like an issue with authorizations.
Do both users have the same roles assigned?
If you are using structural authorizations, are the PD Profiles assigned?
Have the user that doesn't get values enter /nsu53 in the command field. The results should help point you in the right direction.
Thanks,
