Hi,

Is it possible in an Approval Process to define a group of Direct Approvers and then configure so that only 2 of those approvers are required.

We have had a request for 3 approvers to be part of a Purchase Order Approval Process but only 2 approvers are required.

Regards,
Lee

Hi Lee Bown,

Yes, it is possible in an Approval Process to define a group of Direct Approvers (Multiple Approvers) and configure only 2 of those approvers as required but not in a Single Step because if you define Multiple approvals in a single step and any of them approve then there will be no need of other approval. You have to define 2 steps in which you can make one Approval as mandatory and in another Step, you can make one as optional out of 2.

Please have a look at the below link in which someone asked the similar question and I answered it.

Hi Anant,

Thanks for your response.

The answer in the thread you provided requires a mandatory specified approver for in Step 1 which is not quite what we require.

I would like any of the 3 approvers in the Direct Approver group to be able to approve the document, with only 2 approvals required. There shouldn't be a mandatory approver step, as any combination of the 3 approvers are allowed as long as 2 approvals are provided. Is this possible?
