Hello,
is there any actual documentation available when and how there is a migration tool from SEM BCS to FC 7.5 or EPM 8.0 available.
What can be migrated - only data or also customizing?
Finally what is the current status of next generation consolidation tool, when will it be available

Indeed, LSMW or other SAP tools are not relevant in this minefield
We are busy implementing BFC and are simply using XL to import Masterdata and JE Journal Entries.
This works good however.

Hello,
Currently, there is no migration tool or documentation available for moving from EC-CS or SEM BCS to BPC or BFC. Introducing BPC or BFC is a completely new project.
The most recent release available to customers is version 7.5. It was made generally available in 2010.
The next release for the existing applications is version 10.0 and it is scheduled for 2011.
