Exporting CR report to repository - freeze

Hi,

when I try to export a Crystal Reports 2008 SP3 document to our repository (BO XI 3.1 SP3), CR freezes. I then just could terminate the application via Task Manager.

When I manually upload the file in InfoView and click on "View" the process "Please wait while the document is being processed." never finishes; II am using the administrator account.

The CR report works without problems in CR; file size = 98KB.

Thanks!

I don't know of an exact issue but here are a couple of things to test to help you narrow down the problem.

Is it just one report or multiple reports that have the problem?

Is there a firewall inbetween the machines?

Does Crystal Reports on another machine work correctly? What about Crystal Reports on the server - can you save the document in that situation?

      Hi John,

thanks for your help! I realised that this problem won't occur when I upload the report directly from the BOE server: no problem with CR, no problem with InfoView or CMC.

Interestingly, when working with universes or WebI documents in the WebI Rich Client I don't have these problems...?
