How to restrict workitem of a user to the substitute

Hi,

I am using standard functionality of the substitute in sap business workplace.

My problem is when i am assign a substitute to a user for a period say 2 days, then all the workitems of the original user which were invoked in the past are also visible to the substitue.

Now my requirement is to restrict the substitute from seeing all the past workitem and to allow current workitems.

Thanks & Regards,

Ramesh.

Write the logic to restrict in the below BADI

WF_SUBSTITUTE

Hi,

I don't think that WF_SUBSTITUTE will work. Isn't it just for maintaining the substitutions? (And if I remember correctly, it is only or UWL.)

The standard will not support this requirement. You could either check if there is some BADI that you can use to restrict the visible work items in the worklist. Then you could also check if you can do some enhancement (to for example to the functions that get all the work items that are displayed in worklist.

Hi Swaminathan.

I am looking for a BADI to restrict workitems from appearing into the substitute's inbox.

BADI mentioned by you is to restrict substitute profile.

Thanks & Reagards,

Ramesh.

Check this link

Make use of table HRUS_D2

and FM

SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_RECIPIENTS

to filter the workitem.

Thanks

Hi Arghadip,

link provided by is really helpful.

I have tried using BADI 'WF_BWP_SELECT_FILTER' and it worked.

Thanks.
