Exchange rate Discrepancy in the service Order

Hi,

I am facing an issue of Exchange rate discrepancy in the service orders. My controlling area currency is in USD. There is service order created in Europe and labor confirmation posted in EUR. Where as in the system in TCURR table the exchange rate maintained (in posting date) is 1.42 for USD Vs EUR where as in actual cost posting data in service order there is exchange rate of 1.3 for USD Vs EUR.

Could you suggest the discrepancy of this issue exchange rate issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Ranjan

    Hi,

the ex.rate type + value date used to convert time confirmation (valuated with activity rate) in EUR (comp. code currency) to USD (your CO-area currency) can be seen in the CO-version definition.

Customizing: Controlling / General Controlling / Organization / Maintain Versions.

Check version 0 for your fiscal year.

    Best regards, Christian

      Hi Christian,

Thanks for the reply. I found the exchange rate as M maintained. When i checked the M type exchange rate in TCURR table or OB08, i found the rate maintained as 1.42 for USD Vs EUR where as in service order rate followed is 1.30. I am just wondering how this discrepancy happned. Please sugegst me on this.

      Regards,

      Ranjan
