insurance tab in customer master

Dear Forum,

May I know what is the purpose of the insurance tab in customer master?

Why need to have insurance related information to maintain in customer master?

Hi,

This Insurance Tab fileds are to be for MIS / Reporting purpose and nothing but "Export Credit Insurance purpose".

In general, while sending the stock to your customer, the insurance may be born by you or from your customer. If the customer having the Insurance against Goods in Transit, then those details to be maintained at his master data at your systems.
