Rverse determination of partners - CRM 5.0

Hello,

We are using Solution Manager 7.01 which has a CRM 5.0 embeded. For the Service Desk funcitonality we have a ticket SLFN which uses Partner Schema. We want to determine automatically the 00000001 Sold-to-Party partner in the schema based on the SLFN0002 partner. We have first setup for each BP a contact person relationship with the company he belong to.

So we are trying to apply instructions as they are presented in note 899012 using the reverse determination for access sequence for the 000000001 Sold-to-party. However, we were not succesful in the implementation.

Do you have any step-by-step procedure how to determine the BP automatically?

You must define business partneraccess sequence. In your case you should use the access sequence with step CRM_PARTNER_C which determines BP according to relationskip. And as function category you should define 0002 which is for ship to party. Then you must link this access sequence to sold to party partner function in your Z partner determination profile.

This will then mean that sold to party is determined via ship to party.
