Service Agent mandatory in Shipment

Dear Experts,

How can we make Forwarding Agent/Service Agent field mandatory while shipment creation (VT01n) without using

"Maintain Standard Selection Variants for Shipment List" option?

Please advise.

Dear J,

Thanks for the advice.

The setting u suggested is already there in the system.Still that field has not become mandatory and shipment are getting saved even without it.

Is there any Incompletion log for Shipment document?

Have you determine your

CR - Forwarding Agent

TF - Freight service agt

in your customer master?

Hello,

Use tcode VOPA,

Choose Transportation.

Then click the Partner Procedurees button.

Select the procedure and click on procedure details.

There you will find

CR - Forwarding Agent

TF - Freight service agt

Check (put tick mark) in "Mandat.Funct" for the above mention partner.

Similarly, you can do in SPRO (IMG screen)

IMG - SD - Basic Function - Partner Determination - Set Up Partner Determination for Shipment
