No error message when release order value exceeds contract value.

Hi,

I have a value contract for Rs.1000000. When creating the release order in the form of PO the system is allowing us to exceed the value and still does not throw an error message.

This is like this. When the PO value exceeds Rs1000000 in one PO it is throwing an error message as configured. However when I create two POs referencing the contract, the first for Rs999999 and the second again for Rs999999 the system still allows us to create the PO and does not throw the error message. So the user is able to create release orders for value very well above the contract value.

The message configuration is correct.

Can you please let me know the reason for this behaviour of the system?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your quick response.

Both the messages 06-042 and 06-155 are marked as errors in the configuration. Still the system is not throwing the error message and allows the user to create the release order.
