deactivate IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER of the BAdI PRODUCT_UPDATE2 ?

Hello All,

We are not trying to create a local PO. Ours is a classic scenario. We activated the BADI "BBP_PRICEDATA_READ".

Note: Here it says to deactivate IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER of the BAdI PRODUCT_UPDATE2.

We did not find any BADI definition PRODUCT_UPDATE2 or implementation IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER

Ques 1. --> Can you let me know which is the BADI that helps me deactivating IPC. ?

BADI "BBP_PRICEDATA_READ" documentation:

In order to be able to use the simplified pricing, you must make the following settings:

1. Activate the implementation BBP_PRODUCT_PRICE of the BAdI BBP_PRICEDATA_READ.

2. Deactivate the implementation of IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER of the BAdI PRODUCT_UPDATE2.

Deactivate the IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER implementation of the BAdI Product Master Maintenance: Switch Off Buffer Refresh in IPC .

Ques 2. --> How & where do i find "Product Master Maintenance: Switch Off Buffer Refresh in IPC ." ?

If your SRM release is at least a 5.0 version, have a look at OSS note:

1359426 - Simplified pricing (classic scenario)

PRODUCT_UPDATE2 BAdI is no longer mentioned.

Hello,

Thank you for the info, but... not able to create PO.

Small Update....

Our scenarios is:

SC -> Sourcing -> RFx -> RFx Response -> PO in ERP (

Directly create PO in ERP )

We are able to successfully create the below scenario.

PR in ECC --> Get PR in SRM --> Start Collective processing -> Transfer to Central System (SC is created for the PR @ this time) --> Create RFx --> Rfx Response --> Create PO. (PO is created in ERP, Classic Scenario)

We are able to get the PR & we are able to create SC successfully and the PR/ SC is available in Sourcing cocpit.

Able to create RFx --> Rfx Response.

Now once the RFx Response is Accepted --> We go for creating PO.

The same error. We are unable to create PO.

The error is due to pricing - debugged and checked as mentioned in my earlier message.

Kindly Suggest.
