oms2 and po delivery tab setting

Hi All,

First of all, I like to thank sam in answering me on oms2.

I need to clarify on certain issue here.

1) Can I say goods receipt tick box in PO delivery tab is depending on OMS2 setup? If qty in OMS2 is ticked, then by default, PO delivery tab goods receipt box is ticked as well?

2) If value in OMS2 is ticked, then by default, PO delivery tab GR non valuated is no ticked.

3) If qty is ticked in OMS2 then it can be gr based iv ticked or no ticked also can BUT if qty is not ticked in OMS2, then it should not have gr based iv tick. I think this is logic. correct?

Well OMS2 is for material type settings, but the PO field setting are based on different scenarios like GR based IV is a control through vendor master, and also it depends on material type and account assignment categories setting. so all questions you asked are not fully depending on OMS2 its also having other settings depending on different scenarios.

If you read my question carefully, it is not on gr based iv but on qty and value. i need to know if qty and value affecting what i am asking here.

for quantity if is ticked in OMS2 then it will update, and value also in same way. but you have to thibk about the logic first that which material should be qty update tick and value update tick while creating the new material type you have keep all these points in consideration. like some companies use stationary as qty update tick but no value update. kindly review your question that by fields tick in PO and OMS2 combination both are different. anyhow hope its clear now.
