Navigation from a custom table on the Header to Item level VA03

Hi All,

I'm developing VA03 transaction and have a viewport with a custom table (which call with RFC) on the Header level. I have a requirement to create navigation for this table like in the standard SAP table on the Overview level: user double-clicks on an item number and navigates to the item details (E.g: user double-clicks on Item 0020, system navigates him to the Item 0020 Details.)

We found the way how to extract data (item number) from this function module, but got stuck with creating this navigation. It's not defined strictly how users will call this function. It can be a) double-click b) single click c) type the item number in a created field and press script-button). The main question: how to create navigation from a selected item number on the Header level to its item details on the Item data level. The system should understand that if a user clicked on the Item 0030 it should display Item 0030 details.

Please, could you help me with this? Any recommendations, ideas and thoughts are welcome!
