GATP-CRM, ATP check is called, but doesn't get saved in the sales order

Former Member

Hi ,

We have integrated CRM with APO t do ATP check. We are using rule based availablity check.

Under rule based check we are using location determination procedure.

Our scenario is sales from Stock.

Following example

Example:In our case SKu1 stoick is present in location A & B.

Stock in A: 1000

Stock in B: 500

When we create a sales order in CRM of quantity 1000, ATP check is called and the 1000 qty gets confirmed and can successfully save this order..

The ATP works fine in this case.

But if the order exceeds than the stock present in any one of the plant we face following problem:

Sales order qty is 1500:

the availalibilty check is done, qty confirmed from A:1000 & B is 500.

But when we save this order, the confirmed qty becomes zero.

Need your suggestions on this.

Regards,

Chetana

When you are in the APO-Avail check screen, as described you will see that both 1000 from plant A and 500 from plant B is visible, However can you check to see if the CUMULATED CONFIRMED QTY is 1500 or 0

From your description, looks like it is 0 because of which the confirmation is 0 qty

To solve this, please check the following and do one at a time and see which one works

(1) ATP GROUP in APO----- Change CUMULATION to """"CUMULATIONN OF CONFIRMED QTY"""""""

If this does not work, check the CHECK INSTRUCTIONS

(2) in check instructions under RBATP--- check the box for "" Create SUB ITEM"""

Please post us which one worked as it will be helpful for others in the future

Thanks

One other thing also to be tried

(3) Check instructions-- REMAINING REQUIREMENT

Change from " NO remainning REquirement" to " Create Remaining Requirement for the First Subs"

Hi Kumar,

I did the changes in the settings as mentioned but still it is giving the confirmed qty as zero while saving.

This check is being carried out in CRM,

We have checked this scenario in R3. It works fine in R3.

Hi All,

I had raised this issue to SAP and got the reply that this is due to program error.

They suggested note: 1382722 - Subitems deleted in standard scenario

with APO_ATP

By implementing this note the probelm got solved.

hi Chetana

as a first step can you check in rule evalutaion if the location determination rule is working well?

If that does not work then there would be a problem in your rule. Going back a step further then, if the correct value is maitnained in the rule determination. that is the correct customer, location, etc is maintained as per your condition table.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi Chetana,

Check the product allocations maintained in the APO customisation.

If product allocations have not been defined for a characteristics

combination, the system cannot confirm the quantity.

The product allocation quantities are always defined for a characteristics

combination. The values of the characteristics combination are determined

from the sales order.

Try running /SAPAPO/ATPCQ_CHECK which checks the

product allocations.

Hi Senthi,

We are not using product allocation in thiis scenario.

We are using rule based availability check only.
