YES

If your required tax condition type or excise condition type is not present in JINFAC you have to add there and not need in TAXINN procedure

then respective Tax code you have to create and mentain in company code and Tax procedure

then you have to create respective condition record.

If need any help feel free to ask

Hi Hanumant,

Thanks. We dont maintain any excise condition type in the TAXINN procedure. But for BED,Education cess and secondary higher education cess we should have conditions in JINFAC.In std JINFAC only JEXP is available. My query is for Education and higher education should I create the condition types. To create this which condition type i should refer.

My client is asking the document (SAP Note) which suggest that we should create condition type for ECESS and SHEcess.

Please give the inputs.

Regards,

Deepti

cess we should have conditions in JINFAC.

Go to OBQ3, select the procedure TAXINN and copy the condition types required by you to JINFAC

Hi Deepti,

TAXINN is based on the condition technique concept.

To get in the configuration side follow the below mentioned navigation path:

SPRO >logistics General>tax on Goods movements>india>basic Settings>Determination of Exicse Duty>Select Tax calculation procedure

here you define the tax procedure TAXINN for the country

SPRO >logistics General>tax on Goods movements>india>basic Settings>Determination of Exicse Duty>Condition based Excise Determination-->Classify condition types

you specify which condition types you use for which sort of tax

JINFAC JCEP CESARPERC A/R Cess Percentage

JINFAC JCET CESARTOT A/R Cess total

JINFAC JEAP AEDARPERC A/R AED Percentage

JINFAC JEAT AEDARTOT A/R AED total

JINFAC JESP SEDARPERC A/R SED Percentage

JINFAC JEST SEDARTOT A/R SED total

JINFAC JEXP BEDARPERC A/R BED Percentage

JINFAC JEXT BEDARTOT A/R BED total

SPRO >logistics General>tax on Goods movements>india>basic Settings>Determination of Exicse Duty>condition based excise determination-->Assign tax code to company codes.

Maintain a one tax code each for Purchase and Sales

Maintain the condition value in Vk11.

thanks and regards

Hello Deepti,

As I know, for condition based tax calculation/determination, there does not exist much integration between TAXINN and SD pricing procedure, except for those business scenarios where you want to post invoices or transactions directly in FI and want to calculate tax, then TAXINN comes into picture as SD pricing cannot be of use here.

SD pricing (in sales, delivery and billing) is independent of TAXINN for calculation of taxes.

You can make a search for the in Google or SDN.

If you have any specific for particular, then do post your query to the forum.

All the very best. Take care.

Thanks & Regards
