Hello GOA guys

When your business DELETES the GOA ?

When your Business COMPLETES the GOA ?.

What is the difference between both contract status DELETED and COMPLETED.

as far i know both are DIED GOAS . then why SAP has two same functionality of STATUS with different name.

i can NEITHER retrigger DELETED goas NOR COMPLETED GOAs.

What SAP wanted to achieve via COMPLETED status rather than DELTED status?

Delete - helps to delete the change verson of GOA if the buyer does not want or Before RELEASE to backend

Close:- Died/ Buried

GOA can be deleted till awaiting for approval but not released GOA

Closed

You set this status if a contract has expired or if no more releases are to be made.

This status is irreversible.

You can continue to find closed contracts using the search and they can still be used as templates.

HI Muthu,

Delete : As you mentioned that it deletes the change version thats correct but it does not effect the document in the backend it deletes the version in SRM itself and it will never affect the respective OA and also this change version will not be available anywhere in SRM.

whereas in case of Close it will completely close the GOA and respective OA items gets locked and can never be used for any of the procurement reference.

Kind regards,

Atul
