Hi All,
We are facing some strange issue in SAP:
PO was created for particular line item and accordingly GRN was done. Now when users are trying to reverse the GRN then system is not allowing and message is displayed " No suitabel line item found".
Then we checked the PO and found that in item detail - Confirmation tab-shipping notification has been activated. Now my concern is that how shipping notification is activated once GRN is done because when i am trying to simulate the scenario it is in the display mode. When PO was created at that time no confirmation control was assigned due to which GRN was done w.r.t PO.
We have also checked that after PO and GRN done in vendor master confirmation control key has been assigned. But this should not be affected in the current PO as GRN has already been done, then there is no point that confirmation control key should be assigned to PO. But as we see the confirmation control key in PO after GRN was done due to which system is not allowing us to reverse the GRN.
Please advise if some one has faced this issue earlier.
Thnx
AC
Hi
I may not possible to cancel GRN, better return PO to vendor.
once confirmation is activate then it will problem for all the Open PO & Old PO (incase of any reverse or cancel).
Two ways:
1. Find a alternative to solve reversal and cancellation
2. OR remove the Confirmation control

This is very strange issue ...
If confirmation control is assigned in vendor master then it should be reflected while creating new PO but as I am seeing that it has affected the old Open PO whose partial GR has been done. Now my concern is that how shipping notification has been activated in Old open PO whose GRN has been done.
Now what is the solution to correct it as client wants to reverse the GRN.
Pls advise....
