Prerequisite for maintenance optimizer

Dear All,

I have installed SAP ECC 6.0 & SAP Solution manager Also I have added SAP ECC 6 DEV system to my system landscape in solution manager

Now I want to use maintenance optimizer functionality for Support package upgrade.

1. I have assigned the required authorizations to required users.

Now do I need download manager for next step defining solution also where we can find it in SAP marketplace.

are there any other steps that i need to do before using DSWP.

Please help.
