Incorrect sort order of Hierarchy in BPC webclient

entitymembers.jpgHello

Last week, I added 4 hierarchies in the Entity Dimension. H1 hierarchy and H4 hierarchy have similar number of members (except couple of Parent members's name are different)

Now, when users open the BPC web client or excel, they only see H4 hierarchy, but I would expect them to see H1 Hierarchy (Which is original hierarchy).

I also created new Data access profile and added members from H1 hierarchy, but that also didn't work.

Thanks

Hi JP

That's right. But there is another issue.

For e.g. I have Base level entity - Etest which has same parent in two hierarchies (H1 and H4) When I processed the Entity dimension, I looked at Dimentity SQL table, which doesn't look right. I have attached the screenshot which explains the example.

Thanks

Sorry but one base member cannot have same parent member in both the hierarchies! Not allowed! You need to have different ID's in hierarchy. Which table are you taking a look at?

Anybody reading this in the future, note that the above comment is incorrect. You absolutely CAN have the same parent member in both hierarchies. The actual restriction is that the same parent can't have different children in both hierarchies (other than not having any children).

Dipal,

Its by default the standard view of member selector in web! We cant change it....In order to select other hierarchy we have to select it from the button given above. Its the same in NW too! Checked!
