SAP HANA XS Advanced - Fiori Launchpad

Hi All.

I have a problem with Hana Express and SAP Fiori Launchpad Module.

I have created one MTAR project and inside the generated main folder i have added a SAP Fiori Launchpad Module application.

The Fiori Launchpad is correctly created with two standar samples.

Now I have created a new SAPUI5 HTML5 Module and a simple App just for testing Group and Catalog configuration but i have no idea how to set correctly the Fiori Launchapd configuration for add this simple App to my launchapd.

I have tried to follow this two guides :

Using different kind of combination, the tile appears but the Application didn't run because the Component.js file is not reachable (Http error 404).

Any idea / tutorials / sample code for fixing the problem?

I think you'll have to share more about your setup and what is not working. I would recommend that you start from the example and continue from there. Change one thing at a time and make sure it does what you expect. It takes forever because you have to redeploy the whole MTAR every time, so start small.

Looking at how they do it in XSA Shine can also be helpful - https://github.com/SAP/hana-shine-xsa Note that the apps referenced in the site-content/src/site-contents.json are referring to folders under /site-web/resources.

Regarding the help pages you reference - start with the 2nd one, that talks about adding content to a launchpad site. I haven't verified that the option to expose an existing app from another MTAR into a Launchpad Site actual works.

l also think that is poor in details regarding the setup.

Probably that will spend some extra time but can be the key point to provide a better help.
