Import Fixed Assets

Dear experts,

We are using SAP 9.3 and facing the below issue. We have upgraded the customer from 8.82 PL 05 (with intermediate upgrade) and in the version 8.82 he uses the fixed assets add-on.

Now, we have to import the previous (before 2018) fixed asset in SAP. During the import, we receive the message:
"Cannot Import Asset; a new asset's useful life and remaining life must be the same in depreciation area "TAX"".

In order to skip it we have done the below tests:

• New depreciation types
• New fixed asset group
• Change fiscal year

Could you please advice?

Dear Alexsandros,

Use the Fixed asset Data import option from sap business on. While importing remove all the current year assets.

Also verify your Remaining life is Matching from the date of Depreciation start date.
