I would like to understand that does SAP Process Integration comes with some standard adaptors for integrating SAP ERP with the Plant Data Control Systems (DCS) like Honeywell, Foxbro etc? If yes, can you please provide me the list of these adaptors and how can they be accessed through PI?
I would also like to understand the technical details of integrating the DCS with SAP ERP through XI. The objective is to automatically create maintenance orders in SAP ERP Plant Maintenance module if some of the parameter of the DCS (lets say temprature) increases or decreases a defined threashold. I would appreciate if anyone can provide some article or document on this.
