Folder CUID is differeent between environments.How to fix

Hi Team,

We just take BO transition from other vendor & we found that few Folders CUID in Test & Prod environments are different but reports present under those folders are having same CUID & now we started facing issue while promoting reports from Test to Prod environment.Reports are getting stored in different folders after promoting them to prod

Can you please advise how to fix this issue.How i just promote Folder from Test to Prod.

No way to fix, only delete in PROD environment then promote again from your DEV environment.

The only way to fix it is to either delete those objects in Prod and re-promote them from test or delete them in test and promote them from prod.

I have only issue with folder as CUID is same for the reports present under those folders in both Test & Prod env.Your suggestion is to delete both folders & reports reside into that folder from prod & then promote folders & reports again from test environment to prod?

If you have issue only with folder, you can MOVE all reports in that folder to temp location, then delete folder, promote is from desired place and MOVE reports back.

Okay so you are suggesting to move all reports from issue folder to another Temp folder in prod then delete folder having issue.Then add any test report into that folder in Test environment(as we cannot promote only folder & needed reports are already present in prod) & then promote that folder by selecting test report from Test environment to prod environment .Once promoted then delete Test report from prod & move needed reports back to folder just promoted.

I'm not suggesting anything.
It is up to you how you do it.
But you have to delete objects with wrong CUID and promote.
How and which - up to you.
