RE: CRM Business vs PFCG role

Hello all,

i am working on CRM Security and we are using WebClient UI. we assigned Business roles to Positions and assigned users to positions.

we are also assigning the correspoding PFCG role (which is connected to business role) to user. why we need to assign that PFCG role (which is connected to business role) to user if we are assigning user to position and position is already connected to business role.is this not sufficient, assigining the PFCG role (which is connected to business role) is for any addtional advantage?

The only advantage i see is you can maintain authorizations for the menu generated in PFCG role(which is connected to business role). but we are not maintaining it anyway, still do we need to assign every user a PFCG role(which is connected to business role) other than normal PFCG roles which are restricting users from ABAP side.
