Sizing guidelines for the working directory on SAP server

A client is installing Data Services on a Linux platform and is required to allocate disk space for the working directory for the data transport requirements.

Is there any formal sizing recommendations, suggestions or rule of thumb for this?

For the delta loads it will not be too much but for the initial load. A few GByte I would plan for.

I bumped that up as well and went with 2x extract size...just to be safe!
