MRP area determination with stock transfer purchase request/ stock transfer order

Dear experts,

I face a issue about MRP area determination with stock transfer purchase request (STPR)/ stock transfer order(STO).

The background is that there are 2 plants 1000 & 1200, 1200 create stock transfer purchase request to plant 1000 (item catagory is U). plant 1000 will make production. but plant 1000 has 2 MRP area, one is plant level (1000) another is 1000A.

Due to some business requirement, default MRP area has some quota limitation. if there is no quota, production has to be assigned to another MRP area. Now, user requirement is: let SAP determine and assign quota automatically after STPR or STO created.

Normally, if demand is from sales order, it can be done to input storage location according to MRP area.

But now the demand is from STPR/STO. in MD04, MRP area always is default plant level.

Can you help me to find some enhancement point to fix it? I think this enhancment should be about update MRP element create in issuing plant when STPR/STO is created.

I already make some test according to your link and this scenario is only available for stock transfer in one plant. The BADI doesn't work in different plant, maybe I have to change SAP standard program.
