ME51N Maintain Table Control for field ESLL-MATKL PGM SAPLMLSP DYN 400

Dear all,

in ME51N is it possible to maintain the table control for the screen 400 in case of services.

I want to change the invisible flag for field material group (ESLL-MATKL), in ME21N the field is visible , but not in ME51N.

When I remove the flag (as administrator) the change (after activation and saving) will be not accepted, means the field is still invisible and when I reopen my variant than the magic flag is set again? Why is it not possible to remove it, for other fields like ext. service no , it works.

I'm totally frustrated, hope that some one can help me

Hi,

This setting is at a different place.

SPRO-> Materials Management -> External Services Management -> Define Screen Layout

Please use correct field selection key and ammend that. Service fields contains material group.

Dear Sanjeev,

I found the missing customizing , it was hiddden in W Prev. maintenance plan under your display control of services.

Not that I understand why SAP do this in this way, but I'm happy to find the field.

Dear Sanjeev,

I flaggged everything on regarding material group that I fouind in the customizing that you mention to me, but it does not work ?!?!

Field selection 1 for PReq, 4 for orders, 9 for model specification, ME51ff are still on optional, + PT9 (I assuemd this means Item cat 9 for service, and RUE where I never know what this means, but nothing helps.

Is there any trick, die I have to compile anything or what does I make wrong ?

Other fields like ext specno works fine, but not this damend MATKL.

what can I do now ? I'm little bit frustrated.
