Authorisations objects contain fields which give the permission a user gets for that object (Called an authorisation)

Organisational field is a type of authorisation field. They represent fields that may need to be restricted to segregate data and lines of business. These fields are the only ones you would maintain for a derived role (in PFCg authorisations you update the organisational data and any field in the role that users that data is updated in one go)

Common org fields include company code, plant, sales, etc, etc.

suggest you search for some of the key words and you can read up on PFCG_ORGFIELD* programs for promoting and demoting fields.
