Hi,
We are using PP-PI in R/3. We have CIFed PPM to APO.
The transferred PPDS PPM contains Operation 10 and phase 20 (indicating that 10 is superordinate operation).
We are converting it to SNP PPM with lot size margin.
The PPM is generated successfully but the SNP PPM does not carry the primary resource.
What should be done for this?
Thanks
Nitin Thatte
Hi Nitin,
Is the resource is present in active integration model?
Also check your settings in CFC9 transaction. Check
the application log generated during conversion.

Hi Nitin,
As you mentioned that all required settings are in place but still generated SNP PPM does not contain resource, then the only possibility is that the Routing Operation do not have any consumption(standard value) maintained for the reqd base qty and due to this even though the PPDS PPM is generated it will have zero activity duration and also Bucketed resource consumption (variable and fixed) in PPDS PPM would be zero .
And hence as there is no relevance of resource for planning and scheduling in lon term it is not appearing in SNP PPM.
Could you please check n correct the consumption (standard value=hrs) maintained in routing and reCIF the PPDS PPM and then try for SNP PPM.
This will definitely resolve your issue as I did face same issue.

In PPDS PPM I am able to see 0.6 hr as variable resource consumption.in mode.
One more information....... If I transfer it as SNP PDS instead of PPM, I am able to see the resource in PDS.
So it seems the problem lies purely in conversion of PPDS PPM to SNP PPM.

Hi Nitin,
SNP PPM requires variable bucket consumption to create activity on resource. This value comes from PPDS PPM. Now this value is not assigned automatically when you CIF PPDS PPM. You have to maintain user exit or for testing enter value in variable bucket consumption (In PPDS PPM, in mode tab, double click on resource and check column for variable bucket consumptio). Once you maintain this value and then convert PPDS PPM, then resource and same bucket consumption value will appear in SNP PPM.

Hi Nitin,
You might have probably already this checked .
Is the resource you expect to have in the SNP PPM is single mixed or multi-mixed ?
