Portal Activity Report

Hello Experts,

I am trying to create a portal activity to trace the no. of hits for a particular iviews and pages. I have tried creating the Portal Activity Report iView and added the necessary pages and iViews to that Portla Activity Report iView. But I can't see any activities registered under the report. Could you please let me know what's going wrong?

But, if i select the Type of Report as 'Number of users who logged on' or 'Details about the users who logged on' I can see the report. But why not the Page/iView activity report?

RN

Hello Raghava,

If you are at all interested in a 3rd party application to make your life a bit easier getting reports, you could check out Click Stream by Sweetlets. It is user friendly with many key reports quickly accessible and could certainly save you some of the hassles of what you are trying to do now.

Click Stream uses the Usermanagement (UME) API to get more information about the user, groups, roles, LDAP attributes etc. and offers you the ability to filter this information in nearly any report at the click of a button.

Click Stream also uses the PCD API to get information about the pages your users are visiting.

In the very near future Click Stream will also have iView recording to monitor iViews, telling which iViews have been clicked, etc.

Here are some reviews on the SAP EcoHub from people who have used it: http://ecohub.sdn.sap.com/irj/ecohub/solutions/clickstream

Please just let me know if you have any question or if you are open to test drive Click Stream. We will certainly help as best as we can.

Good luck.

First add the role in which your iview/page present. then deleted all otheer iviews and pages except the iview/page which you want the reports.

Hi,

Make sure that Monitor Hits property of the added iview/pages are set to true. Also the iview/pages should be a part of role inorder to get the statistics. You can try a different reporting period also.
